When dry-fitting the deck, clamp the splashwell tightly to the transom and then go and walk around – see how everything lines up all the way around the boat. Remember that you’ll need to add a layer of fiberglass mat between the transom and the back of the splash well so that they adhere to each other. Make sure you’ve got at least a tiny bit of wiggle room for that.
